Alkomet AD, a Bulgarian manufacturer of rolling and press products, announced the opening of a new production facility in Shumen, creating 160 jobs. The expansion boosts capacity for automotive, electric vehicle and renewable energy sectors. Construction began in 2024 and was completed after 18 months, around early 2026.
