Description

Zenita Group, an Italian multinational company operating in the information technology sector, announced the closure of its Naples unit affecting approximately 120 employees in Italy. The decision was presented as part of a new industrial plan in June 2026 and involves the relocation of part of the workforce to Rome and the remainder to Salerno, raising concerns about the continuity of employment and the territorial reallocation of mainly white-collar IT jobs. According to the company, no dismissals are planned, as all affected employees are to be redeployed.

Trade unions, particularly Fiom Cgil Napoli, have strongly opposed the plan, declaring a state of agitation, and calling on regional authorities to open an urgent negotiation table to safeguard employment and skills
