Description

Quantic Dream, a French video game developer, announced a workforce reduction of 115 employees, representing more than 25 % of its French staff. The cuts are part of an internal restructuring prompted by the commercial failure of the MOBA Spellcasters Chronicles and a strategic shift toward AI-generated content. The layoffs will take place across the company’s operations in France, with the company seeking a three-month legal consultation period. Additionally, 20 job cuts will take place in Montreal (Canada). The move reflects a digital transition effort to replace human resources with generative AI technologies.

Quantic Dream has a total workforce of 400 employees.
