Description

Stadler, a Swiss manufacturer of railway vehicles, announced the creation of 128 new jobs at its new customer acceptance centre in Hennigsdorf. The centre was opened in early June 2026 and is to be expanded into a fully operational commissioning facility by 2027.

The expansion focuses on testing trains under the exact voltage conditions of their future operating countries, thereby supporting the European transport transition. The new site will increase production capacity and shorten delivery times for customers as it is located closer to the company's production site in Berlin-Pankow, thus making Hennigsdorf a strategic location for the companies future.

Stadler employs more than 17,000 people worldwide. The Hennigsdorf will play a key role for the company in the future.
