Description

Mercedes Vitoria, a Spanish automotive manufacturer belonging to Mercedes Benz Group and specialised in the manufacturing of vans, announced the conversion of about 100 temporary workers to permanent staff at its production plant in Vitoria. The move will strengthen the workforce for the upcoming launch of its electric van in June 2026, and the hiring will be completed by the end of the month.

The decision reflects Mercedes’ commitment to the green transition, as the electric van aligns with the company’s sustainability strategy and the growing demand for low-emission vehicles in Spain and beyond. The expansion is part of Mercedes’ broader plan to increase production of electric models across its European network.
