Description
Syneos Health Italy, a U.S. multinational active in clinical research and pharmaceutical development, announced 49 job cuts in its Italian operations. The layoffs target 49 employees out of 319 staff, affecting the entire Italian site.
The restructuring is driven by a strategic delocalisation, moving functions and workloads to other countries. Three trade unions ask for a social dialogue and mention that the Italian workforce faces a reduction due to the shift of activities abroad. The trade unions have sent a formal letter to the Ministry of the Enterprice.
