European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Consorci Sanitari Regió Girona, a Spanish health transport company, announced the loss of 193 jobs. The company is a subsidiary of Tourism International Medical Services. The cut is a result of the company’s insolvency and the initiation of an ERE, which will extinguish all labor relations. The losses affect the entire workforce in Girona, with no other employment measures indicated. The restructuring follows a bankruptcy proceeding after the firm declared insolvency.
