Description

The Finnish healthcare company Pihlajalinna has launched cooperation negotiations that may lead to up to 270 job losses.

The negotiations cover about 2,100 of Pihlajalinna’s total workforce of around 4,500 employees and concern healthcare service employees across the entire country. The cooperation negotiations will continue for a minimum of three weeks.

The company has explained the need for the negotiations and job cuts due to exceptionally weak demand in the healthcare market and a broader economic uncertainty in the sector as a whole.
