Description
TÜV Süd, a German technical testing and certification company, announced the creation of approximately 2,000 jobs in Germany by 2030 across various business units.
The planned job creation is part of the company’s long-term expansion strategy and is expected to be implemented gradually over the coming years. By 2030, the global workforce is set to increase by 5,000 which was registered by the ERM events database TÜV Süd 2026 - WO. Around 40 percent of these new jobs are to be created in Germany.
The recruitment is driven by increasing demand for testing, inspection, and certification services in a highly regulated and technology-driven environment.
TÜV Süd employs around 30,000 people worldwide and operates globally in the field of technical inspection and certification services. The hiring reflects the company’s projected organic growth of 5 to 7 percent, which may be further supported by strategic acquisitions. This is also shown by TÜV Süd's strong revenue growth in recent years, surpassing €3 billion in 2022 and approaching €4 billion, underlining its strong market position.
The ERM registered a previous expansion by TÜV Süd in 2014 where 1,000 employees were hired TÜV Süd 2014 - WO, 500 of which in Germany TÜV Süd 2014 - DE.
