Description

Thales, a French defence, aerospace and cybersecurity technology group, announced the creation of 520 jobs in the Netherlands as part of a worldwide recruitment plan for more than 9,000 employees in 2026 Thales 2026 - WO.

The Dutch hiring forms part of a broader business expansion driven by strong demand and a tripling of production in the defence sector, with many of the new recruits expected to work in engineering, software, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, technician and operator roles.

Thales already has a significant presence in the Netherlands, with about 2,800 employees across several locations including Hengelo, Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven and Amersfoort. Previous Thales business expansion events were also recorded in the ERM database in 2023 Thales 2023 - NL and 2025 Thales 2025 - NL.
