Description

Neinor Homes, a Spanish construction company, is preparing an Employment Redundancy File (ERE) affecting 120-150 employees, after acquiring 96.8% of Aedas Homes for 923 million euros. These figures represent between 20% and 25% of the merged staff of both companies (around 580–600 employees combined).

Although Neinor Homes publicly denies that an ERE is planned at this stage, sources close to the operation indicate that adjustments are being considered. In proportional terms, this could imply a higher impact on Aedas employees, potentially approaching 40%, though figures remain under review.

As in previous integrations, overlapping corporate functions are inevitable, where management and mid-level positions at the acquired company are expected to be most exposed.
