Description

Amazon, an e-commerce and logistics company, will open a new logistics centre in Dobromierz, Dolnośląskie Voivodeship, Poland, creating more than 1,000 full-time jobs in its first year of operation.

The highly automated facility, equipped with more than 5,000 robots supporting order picking and shipping, is scheduled to open in 2026 and will become Amazon’s 12th logistics centre in Poland, forming part of the company’s broader investment plan of over PLN 23 billion in the country between 2026 and 2028.

Amazon has operated in Poland since 2014 and runs logistics centres, corporate offices, Amazon Web Services infrastructure, and technology development centres in Warsaw, Kraków, and Gdańsk, investing around PLN 45 billion in the country between 2012 and 2025. Earlier expansion has been reported in the Eurofound database since 2013, with the most recent entry recorded in 2024, see: Amazon 2024 - PL
