European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Action, a Dutch non‑food discount retailer, plans to expand its operations in Italy in 2026, announcing around 240 open positions in its national store network. The vacancies mainly concern retail staff in newly opened stores across several italian regions. The hiring initiative follows the company’s growth in 2025, when Action reported higher sales and extended its store network both internationally and in Italy, surpassing 200 stores by the end of the year.
