Description

In the second half of 2026, two new McDonald’s restaurants will be added to the Hungarian McDonald”s network in Tatabánya (Central Transdanubia) and Gyula (Southern Great Plain). Each of the new restaurants will create 70 jobs. Construction works has already begun. In addition, the Gyula restaurant has already started recruiting employees for management positions.

Since 2019, the Hungarian McDonalds network has been owned and operated by the Hungarian firm Progress Étteremhálózat. Along with the purchase of shares, the owner of Progress – who is also the founder of one of Hungary’s construction companies – became a DL (Developmental Licensee) partner of McDonald’s Corporation.
