Description

Sifi, an Italian pharmaceutical company located in Sicily (Aci Sant’Antonio), has announced a restructuring procedure involving 52 job cuts among the 369 people currently employed.

The company announced the start of the redundancy procedure as part of an industrial efficiency and development plan. No job reductions have yet been implemented, and the unions are indicating that alternatives such as internal redeployment or voluntary exit schemes should be considered to avoid dismissals. They have emphasised that they will oppose dismissals and seek solutions to mitigate the impact on employees.

Sifi S.p.A. is a long-established pharmaceutical company is part of the Spanish multinational group Faes Farma.
