Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The Valencian Regional Ministry of Health has announced the creation of 134 new positions for the Ontinyent Hospital. The new roles include staffing for a pioneering Acquired Brain Injury Unit (9 posts) and a new Mental Health Unit (8 posts). The expansion is supported by over €5.1 million in funding, adding to the €42.1 million allocated for construction and more than €8 million for equipment.
The new hospital will significantly expand local healthcare capacity, in the sense that it will offer 80 beds and double the number of outpatient consultation rooms. Serving a population of over 54,000 across 13 municipalities, the hospital will also feature a medical-surgical day hospital, and advanced radiodiagnostic and endoscopic services.
