The Swedish company Electrolux Professional specializing in high performance equipment and employing 4,000 worldwide, is launching a cost-cutting plan in order to boost future competitiveness. The restructuring, that is part of a broader global trend, will lead to 350 job cuts globally including 40 in France. It is expected that the production from Carros will move to Aubusson. The Carros site's closure is currently under evaluation and in discussion with unions and stakeholders. The company cites ongoing pressure in the coffee sector as a key reason for the shift.
