Description

GE Vernova, which is part of the American General Electric group, is cutting 120 jobs in France as part of a Europe-wide restructuring of 600 jobs. The cuts will mostly affect support departments such as human resources and financial services. 42 of these cuts will take place at its site in Belfort. In order to implement this quickly, the management is putting in place a collective contractual termination instead of a job protection plan.

In 2024, GE Vernova previously cut 740 jobs in Europe General Electric Vernova 2024 - FR.

GE Vernova employs a total of 25 000 people in Europe, and 8 000 in France.
