Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Insa Oil, a privately owned Bulgarian energy and fuels producer and distributor, announced the creation of 120 new jobs at its future bioethanol production facility “Insa Spirit” near Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The recruitment is in line with the launch of plant operations in the second half of 2026. The investment is 56 million Euro. The positions are expected to be permanent: in production, laboratory, and plant operations. The expansion responds to both EU regulatory requirements for renewable fuels (minimum 9% bioethanol in petrol since 2025) and the company’s strategy to diversify into green energy and strengthen energy independence.
The company employs several hundred workers in Bulgaria. The new facility will be the first bioethanol plant in Bulgaria.
