Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Israeli-founded unicorn Yotpo has announced that it will cut about 200 jobs worldwide.
The layoffs will affect approximately 80 employees in Israel, with the remainder distributed among offices in Bulgaria, Poland, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States. The cuts are part of a restructuring programme. Yotpo is to focus on a fast-growing AI-focused e-commerce technology with a focus on customer reviews, loyalty solutions, and AI integration as well as shut down its E-Mail and SMS marketing product lines. This transformation includes selling those product divisions and integrating with partner platforms like Attentive and Omnisend.
Yotpo employs about 600 people globally.
