Primark will create 100 new jobs with the opening of its first Calabria store at Metropolis shopping center in Rende, Cosenza, on September 10. The 3,300 square meter single-level store represents the retailer's 19th Italian location.
The store will offer women's, men's, and children's fashion, licensed products, and beauty, lifestyle, and home goods, with over two-thirds of clothing items made from sustainable or recycled materials.
The opening follows Primark's €50 million investment announced in November 2023, which included stores in Turin, Livorno, and Salerno. The retailer has announced an additional €40 million investment for five more Italian stores in Biella, Perugia, Naples (two locations), and Rome.Primark 2025 - IT
