Description

In August 2025, U.S.-based drone company Thunderstrike inaugurated a new production facility at H.C. Andersen Airport in Beldringe, Denmark. The factory is expected to manufacture up to 500 surveillance drones annually and create between 100 and 240 new jobs. The opening was attended by government officials, including the Danish Minister for Industry and Prince Joachim. This expansion coincides with the establishment of a national drone center at the same airport, which will support research, training, and development, and is projected to add a further 80–100 public sector jobs.
