Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Business consulting company, Ifac, is to create 400 new jobs over the next three years. The new roles will include accounting, tax, audit, corporate finance, consultancy, corporate recovery, payroll, financial planning, company secretarial, and business valuations.
The accountancy and business advisory firm is based in Cork and currently employs 580 people in Ireland with 30 offices throughout the country.
Ifac was founded in 1975 and began as a specialist advisor to Irish farmers. Following a successful rebrand in 2018, it has become a top ten accountancy/consultancy firm with revenues of €50 million expected in 2025.
