Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

ZF, an automotive components manufacturer, will lay off 110 employees from its Electronics Engineering Centre in Częstochowa. This is part of a large restructuring programme, which will last in Częstochowa from 4 August until the end of 2025. The redundancies will affect employees working on projects for ZF Electronics and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. A voluntary redundancy programme has been launched, offering employees the opportunity to terminate their employment on more favourable terms.
ZF has notified the trade union and the District Labour Office in Częstochowa of the redundancies.
ZF is a German manufacturer of automotive parts, operating in seven locations in Poland.
