Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

DSB is relocating key functions from its central workshop in Copenhagen to a newly built 21,000 m² facility near Næstved, set to be fully operational by June 2026. The restructuring involves transferring around 40 existing employees and recruiting at least 100 new staff, primarily local craftsmen. The new site offers improved working conditions, sustainability features, and proximity to nature, including 400 planted oak trees. This move marks a major investment in South Zealand and reflects a long-term strategy for decentralization and workforce development.
