Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Furniture component producer J-STAR MOTION, the Hungarian subsidiary of the China-based Jiecang Group, has officially launched its new production and logistics facility in Kaposvár, Southern Transdanubia. The Kaposvár site is the Chinese conglomerate’s first plant in Europe.
At full capacity, the facility will employ 200 people, meaning around 120 workers will be added to the initial staff of 78.
The plant will produce linear hydraulic systems used in furniture production and medical applications. Most of the output is expected to be exported to Germany, Czechia, and other European countries.
The investment totalled €60 million.
