Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Aquaservice, the leading bottled water dispenser distribution company in Spain and Portugal, has announced that it plans to create over 400 new jobs in Europe in 2025.
The business expansion will apply to Spain and Portugal Aquaservice 2025-ES. In 2024, Aquaservice, recorded a 17.3% increase in turnover, reaching €279 million. All in all, the company created 300 new jobs over the past year, expanding its workforce to 3,380. In 2024, the company expanded internationally by launching operations in Portugal, opening a spring in Gouveia and a regional office in Porto. Over the past five years, Aquaservice has generated over 1,500 new jobs through its annual Employment Creation Plan.
Aquaservice now operates seven production sites and 77 distribution hubs across the Iberian Peninsula, serving over 800,000 customers.
The company already experienced two increases of employment: in 2023Aquaservice 2023-ES, 2024 Aquaservice 2024-ES.
