Description

Verescence, a French leading luxury perfume and cosmetics company is set to receive €5 million from the European Just Transition Fund. The investment will lead to the creation of nearly 120 jobs on two new production lines. The transformation concerns the Mer-les-Bains plant, where the company plans to hybridize two glass furnaces, using electricity and biogaz.

The group currently generates revenue of €430 million and employs 2,500 people across its four production sites. The new initiative represents a significant development for this luxury bottle specialist, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions while optimizing its production capacities.
