Description

Daimler Truck, a German commercial vehicle manufacturer, is creating up to 600 new jobs by building a new logistics centre in Halberstadt (Saxony-Anhalt). The jobs will primarily be in logistics, facility management, IT and administration, and more than half of the positions have already been filled.

The phased commissioning will begin in 2025, with full capacity utilisation planned for 2026.

Daimler Truck employs around 100,000 people worldwide. Daimler Truck last underwent a major global reorganisation in 2013 Daimler Trucks 2013 - WO, as a result of which 800 jobs were cut in Germany Daimler Trucks 2013 - DE.
