Description

Clothing retail company Penneys – owned by Primark - is to cut 100 jobs at the company's head office in Dublin. The job losses are part of 150 redundancies at Primark which are impacting Ireland, the UK and America.

Penneys currently employs approximately 7,000 people in Ireland including 1,500 staff based at its international headquarters in Dublin.

The job losses are in HR, finance and procurement and are part of a plan to move support functions to a third party based in Mumbai.
