Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

AUTO1 Group, a leading European platform for used car sales, has announced that it will create over 2,000 new jobs across Europe.
More than 300 positions will be created in Italy, over 250 in Spain, and more than 70 in Poland, with the remaining roles in Germany, France, Austria, and Belgium.
The hiring initiative is linked to the opening of new branches, the expansion of used car processing capacities at its production centres, and the strengthening of teams at Autohero and AUTO1.com. The company is seeking candidates with a wide range of qualifications and professional experience, from entry-level to experts in automotive mechanics and sales.
At the end of 2024, the group employed approximately 6,300 people and operated in 22 countries. AUTO1 Group is headquartered in Berlin, Germany.
