Description

Infans Group, a French child day care, is going bankrupt, rendering 140 of it's employees redundant. Since March, the group has faced financial difficulties. 7 child day care centres have closed, and 10 will follow.

The Group has bought in 2023 several childcare places from Neokids. It originally trained childcare professionals online. Only nine nurseries could be taken over. Social partners have not been involved, which has been criticised for the lack of respect for collective agreements. No works council was put in place despite the legal necessity to do so.
