Description

Primark will create 700 new retail jobs in Italy as part of a €40 million investment plan for five new stores. The Irish fashion retailer will open locations in Perugia (Collestrada shopping center), Biella, Rome, and two stores in Naples, expanding its Italian presence to 26 outlets.

The expansion follows a previous €50 million investment announced in November 2023 that included five stores in Torino, Livorno, Salerno, Cosenza, and Genova. The Director of Primark Italy states that the company has grown to 18 stores across 10 regions in just nine years, with substantial further growth potential. The retailer will employ over 5,000 staff in Italy following the recruitment drive.
