Description

Olympia, a Belgian dairy producer and part of the Royal A-ware Food Group, has announced it will be closing its facility in Pajottegem. The main reasoning behind the closure is the outdated infrastructure that would require financial investments that are economically unfeasible. Royal A-Ware, which took over the facility in 2022, invested in the facility to increase its efficiency, but failed to do so. All 168 are currently facing dismissal. As is required by the Renault-Law, trade unions and employees are now being informed and consulted.
