Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Teleperformance LT, a company owned by the French customer service company Teleperformance, intends to lay off 42 employees. The company informed PES of the planned redundancies on 11 April. According to the PES, the reason for the layoffs is the reduced demand for labour from the main client due to the geopolitical situation, which has also reduced the volume of work. The company operates in Vilnius and currently employs 363 people, compared to a year ago when there were significantly more employees, around 540.
The Teleperformance team, which has been operating in Lithuania since 2015, provides customer service, technical support, transaction processing, digital solutions, and social media management services. The specialists working here serve companies in various countries operating in the e-commerce, telecommunications, travel, technology, and financial services sectors.
