Primark, the Irish fashion retailer, will open its newest store in Portugal at Guimarães Shopping Centre on 9 May 2025. The new store will create over 100 jobs, bringing Primark’s total workforce in Portugal to around 1,800 employees.
Primark has announced a €40 million investment plan for the Portuguese market, which includes the opening of four new stores in four different cities, as well as the expansion of its Colombo store in Lisbon.
The first store to open under this plan was Primark Montijo, followed by Guimarães, with two more stores – in Viseu and Covilhã – scheduled to open next year.
