Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Thales Group, a French multinational company which designs, develops, and manufactures electric systems, devices and equipment for the defence, aerospace, transportation and security sectors, has announced the recruitment of 400 employees in 2025 at its Limours site. This decision is justified by the war in Ukraine, which significantly increased their sales of air defence radars. Thales is a leader in the radar market, which is crucial and expanding in Europe due to the ongoing war, and it needs to meet the increased demand for war supplies and materials. The last restructuring case recorded for Thales in the ERM concerns Thales Space: Thales Alenia Space - BE; Thales Alenia Space - WO; Thales Alenia Space - FR.
