Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Portugal Aosheng Hi-Tech will invest €18 million in a manufacturing facility for wind turbine blade components, located in Valongo, northern Portugal.
Aosheng is a high-tech Chinese company, specialises in advanced solutions for the wind energy, automotive, medical equipment, and electronics industries.
Production is scheduled to begin in 2026, with recruitment starting in 2025. According to CEO Johnny Xu, this marks the company's first expansion beyond China.
According to the CEO choosing Portugal will improve delivery times for customers in Europe, "bringing us closer and increasing our competitiveness in the wind energy market".
