Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The automotive manufacturer has agreed with unions on 350 voluntary exits at its Campania facilities, affecting 300 employees at the Pomigliano assembly plant and 50 at the Pratola Serra engine production site. According to company representatives, these departures primarily involve staff nearing retirement age and align with the group's generational turnover strategy. The Fiom union, which did not sign the agreement, has publicly commented on these as workforce reductions.
