Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Travis, a Belgian company specialised in the manufacturing and development of nuclear medical technology, has announced it will invest 70 million euros in its facility in Liege. The investment will be done in two instalments: 40 million euros by 2027, and another 30 million euros by 2030. Due to the new investments in production facilities, an additional 350 jobs are expected to be created there in the coming years, mainly in production. The company reported record sales of 72 million euros and an operating profit of 17 percent last year, as stated in a press release.
