Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Vente-unique.com, an e-commerce company specialising in home furnishings, is set to hire 250 people in Montbeugny (Allier) as part of its expansion efforts. The company is investing €45 million in the construction of a new logistics platform, which is expected to be operational by October 2025. The first recruitment campaign started in June 2025 - 60 new employees were hired -, but gradually, more jobs will become available. Recruitment will be carried out simultaneously with the construction of the site, which will be fully completed in the second trimester of 2026, creating a total of 250 new jobs.
This marks the Group's second investment after establishing a platform in Amblainville (Oise) to accommodate growth driven by high sales. The new warehouse will be designed for bulky products and will primarily serve France, Switzerland, and Spain. Additionally, the company plans to offer logistics services to third-party sellers within the home furnishings sector, further enhancing its market presence.
