Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Lydia Solutions, a French fintech company, plans to recruit 400 employees over the next three years. The first wave in 2024 includes the hiring of 70 people. Currently, the company employs 250 people. This new workforce will focus on developing and enhancing their Sumeria application, which has expanded beyond simple peer-to-peer payment transfers to offer a full range of comprehensive banking services.
A previous business expansion was recorded in the ERM database, with plans to recruit 800 employees when Lydia had just 150 workers in 2021 Lydia Solutions 2021 - FR.
